Orange Starburst

When we had our garage sale awhile back I took some pictures of my moms flowers in her garden. I'm not exactly sure what kind of flower it is but it reminds me of a lilly. I absolutely love lilies. In our wedding I had different kinds of lilies in my bouquet and different places through out the reception. My favorite flower is the stargazer lily, there's just something about the colors and the shape that just tickles my fancy. :)

I figured out how to text wrap in Illustrator and tried it with the cup mess that I was originally going to do but it didn't turn out how I wanted, and since I don't know illustrator well at all I went with the flower. I replaced some of the petals with the definition of rhythm. I thought it turned out pretty good, especially for my first project ever done in Illustrator. Now all I have to do is go print it for Tuesday. :)

If I am up for it, I'll be going to the fabric store so I can finish Darlene's make up bag, start my new laptop sleeve and get fabric to patch up Chris' pants. I hope to open my Etsy shop soon but I am not sure of how all the taxes and all that stuff works and I don't want to mess up and then end up owing the government money for not doing things properly.

I changed the color per Elaine's suggestion and I like it, it connects it all together better. :) What do you think?
