As many of you know I love octopi, hinting towards my tattoo. So if your dad likes them too and needs a cig holder or hard wallet he'd most likely like this one.

I got the job!

Needless to say everyone in my family is super excited! I am ecstatic!

I went with my boss yesterday to one of the programs that he did. We had a good time and got to spend time with the kids and taught them how to make omelets. The look on their faces was priceless. They felt so accomplished that they could make something and that it tasted awesome! Here is the website for you to take a gander at. Yesterday was my Father-in-law's birthday, we went to lunch and got him a wonderful iPad2. I wasn't home for dinner but they celebrated with the twins and Ryan so they had a grand ol time.

I will be putting up a page soon that has my portfolio on it so then if y'all ever feel like looking at it. It needs to be updated so be on the look out. :)

Crossed fingers for some change

Saturday I had an interview with a couple who own a non-profit organization that teaches kinds life skills and how to cook, amongst other things. We had a really good chat and they told me what they are all about and it sounds really, really exciting and I am hoping that I get this job. It will be my first graphic design job. :) I go meet up at one of their events tomorrow to see what they do. I hope, I hope, I hope I get it!!

I have got to skype with Chris a couple times, which was really nice. Last time we only got to skype once and that was right before he got to come home. I'm sending him a couple more carepackages tomorrow. :)

If anyone would like to send him a package let me know and I can send you the address. I'll post some of my work that I have done this week so y'all can take a peek. :)

YAY an outfit post!

This one was originally suppose to be posted last week.. But that's okay. I wore this for easter :) My sister Skyla absolutely loves it because of the leopard print on it.

The dress is from macys. I have found a few things from there that I actually like for once. My mom had a bunch of coupons so we saved a lot of mulah. :) The shoes are from DSW, which is where I get most of my shoes; but always in the back in the clearance section. I was wearing a tan cardigan with it but we apparently didn't take pictures with me wearing it. This is the only strapless dress that I have found that actually fits right on me.

Goodness gracious

I have been swamped with the different things for school and a week has gone by with no posts :( I feel like such a slacker! I think right now I will only have some posts a week instead of every day like I was doing in the beginning since I am now home.

This past Friday Busa decides he's going to be mischievous. While I was at school Mom got home and saw that Dad's door was parked with the door open so she was rather confused. What had happened was, Busa got out and then went into the middle of the intersection close to the house and was causing traffic because all the drivers were trying not to hit him. Thank goodness they were so considerate because he could have been road kill! So Dad went and got him and saved him. Also in that same day Busa decided he was going to jump out of the window on the 2nd floor of our house! Mom gets home another time (I'm not sure if it was before or after the intersection incident) and Busa is at the gutter barking at her! She gets Dad and took a picture of him trying to get my dang dog back inside.

Dad is halfway out the itty bitty window with a towel so Busa could get some traction to get back to Dad. Needless to say they don't leave a window open around him anymore lol.
